Carol Price

Carol Price has been the managing owner of BookPeople of Moscow since December 2011. She has served as president of the PNBA, chair of the PNBA book awards committee, and as a board member of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce. BookPeople of Moscow became profitable in 2017 and remains so, aside from 2020 which was a break-even year! She has done it all and is happy to have an employee co-owner and a great staff team sharing the work load. Carol now focuses her bookstore time on buying, restocking, daily bookkeeping and inventory management, event planning, and handling stuff such as the website. She has strong skills in inventory management, gift and front list buying, event planning, HR & staff training/management, vendor management/daily bookkeeping, store operations, community relations, and leadership. Carol has a strong desire to help other store managers and owners learn in a few months what she has learned in a decade of trial and error. (updated August 2023)
